{"id":66556,"date":"2021-05-02T22:21:45","date_gmt":"2021-05-02T22:21:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=66556"},"modified":"2021-05-02T23:02:22","modified_gmt":"2021-05-02T23:02:22","slug":"broncos-disastrous-roster-blunder-exposed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=66556","title":{"rendered":"Broncos&#039; disastrous roster blunder exposed"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>BRONCOS BLUNDER LAID BARE BY WALSH<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Brisbane&#x27;s woeful recruitment and retention was highlighted again over the weekend in the Warriors&#x27; <a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/nrl\/news-2021-new-zealand-warriors-north-queensland-cowboys-ben-murdoch-masila-jason-taumalolo-concussion-tackle\/281f8a98-4103-447f-a0b8-6c8f5c7230a1\" title=\"gritty 24-20 win\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gritty 24-20 win<\/a> over the Cowboys.<\/p>\n<p>The standout player for the Warriors was Broncos discard Reece Walsh, who created one try, had another disallowed and looked dangerous throughout.<\/p>\n<p>With the Broncos crying out for a playmaker, they never even gave Walsh, who looks a fine prospect, a chance.<\/p>\n<p>The youngster moved to the Warriors recently, was tossed straight into first grade at 18, has played two fine games and has a huge future.<\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"16b4ab3c-61e0-4795-8063-32ae744038f4\" src=\"https:\/\/prod.static9.net.au\/fs\/16b4ab3c-61e0-4795-8063-32ae744038f4\" alt=\"\" data-width=\"1396\" data-height=\"785\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>GRANT HAS GRIT BEHIND THE GUILE<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We have all marvelled at Harry Grant&#x27;s skill and speed over the past 12 months, but he showed a new side to his game against Cronulla &#8211; toughness.<\/p>\n<p>In his starting debut for the Storm, Grant was clearly targeted by the Sharks&#x27; big middle forwards, who used him as a speed bump.<\/p>\n<p>The mighty mite was sat on his arse half a dozen times by the Cronulla giants but bounced back up every time despite some heavy knocks.<\/p>\n<p>He also dislocated a finger TWICE during the game but kept on going, only coming off when the match was well won in the final stages.<\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"c43cde35-ef81-4a10-97b6-826a85ecb949\" src=\"https:\/\/prod.static9.net.au\/fs\/c43cde35-ef81-4a10-97b6-826a85ecb949\" alt=\"\" data-width=\"1396\" data-height=\"785\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>GAMBLE PAYS OFF IN HISTORIC FIGHTBACK WIN<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Tyson Gamble&#x27;s NRL career looked over before it ever really began, with just three games to his name at the age of 24.<\/p>\n<p>But the unheralded halfback proved the man who sparked the Broncos&#x27; remarkable comeback from the dead against the Titans last Friday night.<\/p>\n<p>And he may just be the player to get the pride back into the Broncos, judging by his take-no-prisoners approach.<\/p>\n<p>With Tom Dearden, Anthony Milford and Brodie Croft all failing dismally in the playmaking role, Gamble was handed the keys to the Broncos&#x27; attack by a desperate coach Kevin Walters.<\/p>\n<p>With his team down 22-0 early, heads were dropping and the Broncos were bracing for yet another thrashing.<\/p>\n<p>But the cheeky Gamble would have none of it.
