Australian heavyweight boxer Lucas Browne took aim at the referee and his opponent Paul Gallen in a Facebook post today, over what he alleged was a series of illegal punches.<\/p>\n
"A friend of mine sent me a video this morning – a compilation of all the hits that I got hit in the ear, and behind the head," Browne said in a video.<\/p>\n
"It explains the extensive amount of pain I was in last night."<\/p>\n
The former Sharks captain needed less than two minutes of the first round<\/a> to claim a TKO victory over the 42-year-old former world champion.<\/p>\n Browne posted on Facebook that he had a ruptured eardrum, as well as a compilation video of what he claimed were illegal blows, and a photo of fluid that had leaked out of his ear.<\/p>\n https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/lucas.browne.79\/posts\/10158515082588068<\/a><\/p>\n "People saying that I threw the fight, I'm just doing it for money et cetera. Well sorry, I got hit behind the head five or six times which threw my equilibrium out. Hence the reason I was cross-eyed for most of it, and couldn't fight back," Browne said.<\/p>\n "I wasn't knocked out, so to speak with the one punch and out cold. I basically had no equilibrium … That was the reason I lost the fight.<\/p>\n "Well done Gal for getting away with forearming someone and hitting someone in the back of the head many times. The ref didn't call it, not your fault, you do what you do.<\/p>\n "I'm going to have the loss to a footballer on my career for the rest of my life for getting hit in the back of the head, and people are thinking I threw the fight.<\/p>\n "My ears basically running shit out, sore as hell, I'm going to go the doctors and the hospital today. It wasn't fake, it wasn't bullshit. It is what it is."<\/p>\n Gallen rubbished claims earlier this week that Browne had chosen to drop to the canvas.<\/p>\n "There's no way he took a dive, I flat-out bashed him, to be honest with you," Gallen said on 2GB's Wide World of Sports Radio<\/a>.<\/p>\n "I have no doubt he took me lightly. I said that throughout the whole build-up. He thought he was going to walk through me.<\/p>\n "That was his attitude.
