Geelong Cats winger Mitch Duncan drained a 60-metre torpedo after the half-time siren in today's clash with the West Coast Eagles<\/a>, leaving commentators in hysterics.<\/p>\n

The Cats piled on 10 second-term goals to the Eagles' zero, one of which saw blockbuster recruit Jeremy Cameron kick his first goal in Geelong colours.<\/p>\n

But the most impressive major of the quarter belonged to Duncan, who hadn't kicked a goal this season but hit the scoreboard in spectacular fashion.<\/p>\n

"Duncan to really light up Kardinia Park!" said Fox Footy commentator Mark Howard.<\/p>\n

"He's onto it. Has it got the legs? I reckon it has!<\/p>\n

"What a quarter of football by the Cats.<\/p>\n

"They're going for the review. Let's call it a goal and call it now!"<\/p>\n

The goal was deferred to the ARC because the umpires thought it may have been touched on the line, but Duncan's heroics were given the all-clear after endless replays.<\/p>\n

"A 60-metre barrel after the siren to finish a 10-goal term," Howard said.<\/p>\n

Brisbane Lions legend Jonathan Brown added: "Beautiful. Hard to execute a barrel, too, with a slippery ball."<\/p>\n
