Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s exhibition bout against Logan Paul has a new date and it's raised some eyebrows.<\/p>\n

The undefeated boxing legend and the YouTuber will take to the ring on June 5 at a venue yet to be determined, according to The Athletic.<\/p>\n

The exhibition bout will be competing head-to-head with the highly anticipated lightweight world title fight between Teofimo Lopez and Australian George Kambosos <\/a>which is scheduled on the same date.<\/p>\n

The Australian's fight is seen as one of the biggest bouts in boxing this year with the IBF, WBA, WBC, WBO and Ring Magazine titles up for grabs.<\/p>\n

The move by Mayweather's camp is seen as a power play for both the retired star and Showtime Pay-Per-View, who will be broadcasting the fight. The fight was originally slated to appear on online platform Fanmio.<\/p>\n

The Lopez v Kambosos fight will be hosted by Triller Fight Club, which also aired the Jake Paul-Ben Askren "fight".<\/p>\n

The scheduling will force most fight fans to choose between Mayweather's next foray into the ring and the Lopez-Kambosos clash, which could hurt the pay-per-view numbers for the Australian's fight.<\/p>\n

Mayeather's clash was originally scheduled for February 20, but was later postponed indefinitely.<\/p>\n

According to the Athletic, the fight agreement states Mayweather can't weigh in more than 160 pounds, while Paul will have to come in under 190 pounds.<\/p>\n

Mayweather said on Instagram that the venue has been narrowed down to five cities: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas and Atlanta.<\/p>\n

Paul's own brother Jake \u2014 who is coming off a first-round knockout of ex-UFC fighter Askren \u2014 said the YouTuber is "f—ed" and the fight is a "terrible idea."<\/p>\n

Paul suffered s a split-decision loss in his last fight to fellow YouTuber KSI in November 2019.<\/p>\n

Mayweather hasn't fought since defeating Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa via first-round TKO in an exhibition match in December 2018.<\/p>\n
