It was a stunning result against a boxer in Browne, who was last night's hot favourite due to his years of experience in the ring that included a professional resume of 29 wins, 25 of which being knockouts.<\/p>\n
But with the fight finishing after just 115 seconds, Gallen said the former heavyweight champion simply didn't take him seriously enough while shutting down any suggestions of a predetermined outcome.<\/p>\n

"There's no way he took a dive, I flat-out bashed him, to be honest with you," he told 2GB's Wide World of Sports Radio.<\/p>\n
"I have no doubt he took me lightly. I said that throughout the whole build-up. He thought he was going to walk through me.<\/p>\n
"That was his attitude. He wouldn't have taken the fight if he thought it was going to be a competition like it was.<\/p>\n
"When I saw the way he was training, I could probably tell and I think he realised the last two or three weeks that, or he may have heard some stories because there's always sparring stories in the boxing world. I reckon he might've heard that I was going all right.<\/p>\n
"He tried to pull his finger out, but as I said during the press conference, it was too late unless you had done the work earlier on. You can't cram it all into the last two weeks and he tried to do that and it didn't work for him."<\/p>\n

Browne earlier today was forced to defend himself<\/a> after coming under the firing line from fans on social media for his performance.<\/p>\n "It's so f–king sad to see so many bulls–t comments, attacks, haters and people saying I took a dive," Browne wrote on Facebook at 5am.<\/p>\n "I had a fight, I fought s–t, couldn't recover, have been out the ring for too long and got beat. End of story."<\/p>\n Gallen admitted he was disappointed people weren't talking about the hard work he had put in to prepare for the bout.<\/p>\n "He was holding his left hand, he wanted me to walk onto his right hand, so I knew exactly what he was doing, I just didn't give him that option," Gallen added.<\/p>\n "When I got inside him I was just too fast. I knew that he didn't respect me leading into it.<\/p>\n "None of it surprised me.<\/p>\n "I haven't read any comments to say that he took a dive. He didn't take a dive.
