Tim Tszyu has confirmed a fight with Michael Zerafa is on the cards should plans to fight an international opponent fall through.<\/p>\n
Hot off his convincing win over Dennis Hogan, Tszyu said he wants a top-ten ranked opponent but will gladly take to the ring with Michael Zerafa if all else fails.<\/p>\n
"It could be (Zerafa)," Tszyu responded on the pre-fight coverage ahead of Paul Gallen's fight with Lucas Browne.<\/p>\n
"That's a fight that excites me a little bit, a fight that I want. He's been mouthing off too much, and I've always wanted to put him in his place.<\/p>\n

"If there is no other available option, I will fight Michael. He'll bring a good challenge but I'm not concerned at all.<\/p>\n
"Again, my promoter and team are in negotiations with someone from overseas at the moment.<\/p>\n
"We'll see how it goes in the next week or two. If not, then we'll put Zerafa in place. It's a fight that I'm keen for."<\/p>\n
The undefeated star also addressed claims his father, legendary Aussie boxer Kostya, wants to take one of his fights to Russia.<\/p>\n

"My dad's been talking about fighting in the Red Square which hasn't been done for a long time," Tszyu said.<\/p>\n
"If you know the Red Square, it's a big place. My fights have been aired all around Russia, so the Russian fans are really behind it. It's always been a dream of mine."<\/p>\n
The Sydneysider also declared he wants to fight for all four belts once Jermell Charlo and Brian Castano clash in July.<\/p>\n
"Right now Castano and Charlo are fighting for the unification, we're hoping to be the mandatory for all the four belts," he added.<\/p>\n
"To be in that position to fight for all four belts later in the year or maybe early next year, I'm going to take it with both hands."<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
