The Queensland Bulls have smashed NSW by an innings and 33 runs to claim the Sheffield Shield on the fourth day at Allan Border Field.<\/p>\n
A jubilant Bulls team made history with the win, scoring their first ever victory against the Blues in a Shield final. The dominant performance also resulted in the Queensland men's team winning the title in the same year as the women's team for the first time.<\/p>\n
The Bulls ripped through the NSW tail order on Sunday to secure the Shield before midday, what was the biggest thrashing in a Shield final since Queensland thumped Victoria by an innings and 354 runs in 2006.<\/p>\n
The Bulls went into the fourth day already guaranteed victory with NSW resuming at 5\/140.<\/p>\n
