Star South Sydney Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell is facing a potential four-week ban for his high shot on Wests Tigers winger David Nofoaluma in yesterday's win.<\/p>\n
The former Rooster is also facing two fines for dangerous contact and contrary conduct offences.<\/p>\n
Mitchell was placed on report for a late and high shot on Nofoaluma in the 32nd minute of the Stadium Australia clash.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old has received a grade-two dangerous contact (head\/neck) charge and will miss four weeks if he's found guilty at the judiciary on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
He can reduce the ban to three weeks if he takes the early guilty plea.<\/p>\n
A suspension would see him miss clashes against the Titans, Raiders and Storm.<\/p>\n
Mitchell has also been dealt dangerous contact and contrary conduct charges for incidents involving the Tigers' Luke Garner.<\/p>\n
The dangerous contact charge stems from Garner's 44th minute try, in which Mitchell slid into him after he planted the ball over the line.<\/p>\n
Mitchell faces a $1600 fine unless he fights the charge and wins.<\/p>\n

In the second incident, Mitchell appeared to strike out with his boot to shake off the back-rower's hold after his cover tackle in the 63rd minute. Garner turned to TV cameras in shock afterwards suggesting the Rabbitohs fullback had struck his head.<\/p>\n
Mitchell is facing a $1600 fine if he pleads guilty due to 20 per cent loading from prior offences, or $2100 if he fights that charge and loses.<\/p>\n
Mitchell's behaviour was heavily scrutinised by Tigers coach Michael Maguire, who said the NRL needs to use technological advancements in the game to stamp out foul play.<\/p>\n
"I think Garns ended up copping a boot there at one stage, technology in the game can refer to that," Maguire said.<\/p>\n
"I'd like [the Garner incident] to be dealt with straight away, who knows where the game could have gone with that?<\/p>\n
"I do not understand why we don't use it."<\/p>\n
