The latest injury setback for the 27-year-old occurred during a Cowboys' training session, according to a club statement.<\/p>\n
"North Queensland Toyota Cowboys captain Jason Taumalolo is facing a fresh stint on the sideline after fracturing the opposite hand to the one he injured in March," the statement read.<\/p>\n

"Taumalolo suffered the injury at training and is expected to be sidelined between 1-3 weeks."<\/p>\n
Lachlan Burr will now replace Taumalolo at lock for the Cowboys' clash with the Bulldogs on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The setback for Taumalolo is a brutal blow for the Cowboys, who currently sit 15th on the ladder with just one win to their name.<\/p>\n
