Charles Barkley has a long memory.<\/p>\n
The NBA great didn't miss a beat when Shane Heal's daughter Shyla, was drafted with the No. 8 overall pick in the WNBA Draft.<\/p>\n
Barkley had a famous run in with the former Boomers guard during a pre-Olympics game for the 1996 Games in Atlanta.<\/p>\n
The 'Round Mound of Rebound' and Heal faced-off during the game when Heal chest-bumped Barkley, after the US star closed out the Australian after shooting the ball in a dirty play.<\/p>\n

Heal was on fire against the Americans in that game and the clash almost triggered a fight between the two teams.<\/p>\n
After Heal got under his skin 25-years ago, the NBA legend had a message for the Australian while undertaking duties as an analyst for US broadcaster TNT.<\/p>\n
"Can I ask you a question?" Barkley began. "That one girl, her name was Heal from Australia \u2026"<\/p>\n
"The daughter of," fellow co-host Ernie Johnson replied.<\/p>\n

"Of Shane Heal?" Barkley asked.<\/p>\n
"Yes," Johnson said.<\/p>\n
Barkley: "Shane Heal, I want to congratulate you on your daughter," he said, "but you are so lucky I didn't kill your a– at the Olympics.<\/p>\n
NBA legend Kenny Smith chimed in: "Didn't you want to fight Shane Heal at the Olympics?"<\/p>\n
