"He got assessed with a nose," Xavier Ellis told Channel Seven.<\/p>\n
"De Goey was ruled out at quarter-time with a nose, it's not a concussion."<\/p>\n
While the news for Howe, who missed most of last season with a knee injury, is a hamstring issue after the defender landed awkwardly during a marking contest.<\/p>\n
The extent of the injury remains unclear at this stage, but the club is hopeful it's not a serious concern.<\/p>\n
"His knee was strapped but I can confirm it's a hamstring," Ellis said.<\/p>\n
