{"id":56652,"date":"2021-04-11T12:55:26","date_gmt":"2021-04-11T12:55:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=56652"},"modified":"2021-04-11T12:56:48","modified_gmt":"2021-04-11T12:56:48","slug":"asia-cup-has-been-postponed-to-2022-ehsan-mani","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=56652","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Asia Cup has been postponed to 2022\u2019 Ehsan Mani"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin: 5px 5% 10px 5%\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/arysports.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Asia-Cup-Ehsan-Mani.jpg\" width=\"742\" height=\"486\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Lahore: Asia Cup 2021, scheduled to play in June 2021, has now been postponed to 2022, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ehsan Mani informed the Board of Governors (BoG) in its 62nd meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>PCB Chairman, while briefing BoG\u00a0on matters relating to the International Cricket Council (ICC) as well as this year\u2019s ICC T20 World Cup in India, revealed that the tournament has been shifted to 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, Ehsan Mani said in February that the tournament\u00a0would be impossible this year due to a clash with the inaugural ICC World Test Championship\u2019s (WTC) final.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sri Lanka had said it would host [the\u00a0ACC Asia Cup 2021]\u00a0in June but there\u2019s now a clash of dates as the ICC Test Championship\u2019s final match is in June. It is likely to be postponed till 2023, Mani said.<\/p>\n<p>It must be noted that the tournament has been called off for the second time.
