After goals to Mitch Lewis and Dylan Moore drew the Hawks within two goals of the Cats, Chad Wingard<\/a> thought he had sliced into the lead yet again with 8:49 left on the clock.<\/p>\n Wingard's 45m set shot from a slight angle floated through the goals, but Geelong ruckman Rhys Stanley convinced the goal umpire that he had gotten a finger on the ball before it crossed the goal line, resulting in the umpire's soft signal being touched.<\/p>\n Replays did not show that Stanley had definitely touched the ball, but also did not show that he hadn't touched the ball, with the umpire's soft signal standing as a result.<\/p>\n Wingard and his Hawthorn teammates were left stunned by the call, as was Brian Taylor on commentary for Seven.<\/p>\n "Is there a finger flicked there?
