Wearing a Thom Browne piece designed to mimic the centuries-old statues that line the museum, Vonn told Vogue ahead of the event that the Met Gala would be a sort of \ufeff"coming-out party" for her following the accident.<\/p>\n

Tennis star Serena Williams<\/a> is no stranger to the Met Gala, \ufeffeven serving as co-chair for the event back in 2019.<\/p>\n

This year, she wore a custom Marc Jacobs look designed to be a modern take on Grecian design.<\/p>\n

The metallic silver gown was adorned with gold leaf accents and paired with a pair of golden Italian leather heels.<\/p>\n

She arrived at the event in a shimmering black gown with a statement silver necklace draped across her shoulders.<\/p>\n
