Lahore: Pakistan captain Babar Azam and his deputy Shadab Khan want players to make full use of the first intra-squad practice match here at the Gaddafi Stadium.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both captains believe that the practice matches will provide Green Shirts enough practice before flying to South Africa for three ODIs, part of the ICC World Cup Super League.<\/p>\n

“We [Pakistan] haven’t played a fifty-over game for quite some time now, this match will help our body to get used to the fifth-over game,” said Shadab.<\/p>\n

“The weather is a bit cloudy which might challenge batsmen and you never know of getting the same conditions in South Africa,” Babar expressed.<\/p>\n

Note, Pakistan’s white-ball squad will play second practice match on March 24. The team will fly to Africa on March 26.<\/p>\n
