J\ufeffohn Cena<\/a>'s year-long retirement tour will touch down in Australia this week, with the WWE<\/a> icon set to have one of the last matches of his career in Perth.<\/p>\n

The 17-time world champion will retire from in-ring competition in December, bringing to an end a wrestling career that has spanned more than two decades.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Inside the squared circle, the 48-year-old has sat near the top of WWE for many years and headlined countless WrestleManias against the likes of The Rock and Cody Rhodes.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Outside of the ring, Cena has inspired millions of people across the globe and holds the record for most wishes granted to sick children through the Make-A-Wish program.<\/p>\n

Cena will headline a blockbuster three-night takeover at RAC Arena<\/a>, with major names including Roman Reigns<\/a> and Australia's own Rhea Ripley<\/a> advertised to appear.<\/p>\n

Ripley – who has already cemented herself as one of the greatest female competitors in WWE history at 28 years of age – won't be the only Aussie taking centre stage either.\ufeff<\/p>\n

Bronson Reed<\/a> will square off against the aforementioned Reigns in an 'Australian Street Fight' that promises to deliver nothing but carnage and chaos.<\/p>\n

The marquee match on home soil is 18 years in the making for the Adelaide product, who missed out on the company's previous major show in Perth and was sidelined for an extended period between November and May due to a serious foot injury.<\/p>\n

This time around, Reed has promised to deliver for his home fans, friends and family.<\/p>\n

"Since before even starting in WWE, it was a dream of mine to get into WWE and come back home and perform in front of all my friends and family and fellow Australians," he told Wide World of Sports earlier this year.<\/p>\n

"Unfortunately, it hasn't happened yet and now is the time where it's finally gonna happen and trust me, I'm gonna put on a show like no other.<\/p>\n

"This will be the last time John Cena performs in Australia, which is a huge deal – but it's also gonna be the first time you'll see Bronson Reed."<\/p>\n
