Manly Sea Eagles backrower Andrew Davey's season looks all but over after injuring his ACL in the opening minutes of his side's 26-12 loss against South Sydney.<\/p>\n
After just four minutes of game time, Davey had to be helped from the field after falling awkwardly in a twisting tackle at Brookvale Oval.<\/p>\n
Coach Des Hasler confirmed after the match that Davey's season was likely done for this year.<\/p>\n
"It's not going to get any easier, particularly with some of the injuries we've picked up," Hasler said.<\/p>\n

"Andrew Davey, very likely an ACL, so that's his season finished.<\/p>\n
"He had some really good goals, I thought what he provided last week was a real spark, he's so competitive as well, so we're going to miss that."<\/p>\n
It was Davey's first start of the season, due to teammate Curtis Sironen also suffering a knee injury and being ruled out for four to six weeks.<\/p>\n
"He's injured here, he's done something bad," NRL great Braith Anasta said at the time of injury.<\/p>\n
"I think he's done his knee here."<\/p>\n
