I\u2019ve been building <strong>Monster League<\/strong>, a new mobile game that combines season-long fantasy football with retro RPG mechanics inspired by the original Game Boy Pokemon games.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of just drafting a lineup and watching stats, you <em>battle<\/em> and <em>catch<\/em> athletes who have elemental types like Fire, Ice, Electric, and Steel. Matching elements during battles boosts your players\u2019 points, turning each matchup into a mix of sports strategy and RPG-style combat.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no draft. You pick athletes to challenge, and only by defeating them can you &quot;catch&quot; them and add them to your team. The big goal? Beat the Elite Three, NPC trainers modeled after real fantasy football experts. Lose to them, and your season\u2019s over. Beat them all, and you\u2019re the Monster League Champion.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re launching next month with the 2025 pro football season.
