Rather, they spotted what looks like the shadow of his penis at the bottom of his X-ray. <\/p>\n<p><img alt=\" Andy Murray\u2019s X-ray. (Instagram)\" \/><\/p>\n<p> Instagram commenters were quick to poke fun of their phallic discovery. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cDoes anybody else see what I can see in the second picture?\u201d questioned one Instagram user. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cBest wishes. And we can see a little more than your shiny new hip,\u201d chuckled one person. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cIs it just me or can I see his dingle dangle outlined there!?\u201d another queried. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cSpeedy recovery, happy you\u2019re out of pain and congrats on your pork sword,\u201d another stated. <\/p>\n<p> While people poked fun at the sight of the X-ray, it\u2019s actually a thing in the field of radiology known as the Throckmorton sign. <\/p>\n<p> A <\/p>\n<p>                        <a href=\"https:\/\/radiopaedia.org\/articles\/throckmorton-sign-pelvis\">Throckmorton sign<\/a><\/p>\n<p>                         \u2013 also known as John Thomas sign \u2013 is a term used by radiologists to refer to the direction of where the penis points in relation to unilateral disease. <\/p>\n<p> The common belief is that the penis points to the direction of the medical condition \u2013 in Murray\u2019s case, his hip. <\/p>\n<p> According to the <\/p>\n<p>                        <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apnews.com\/3baa892420774bd88ed215b3a417be60\">Associated Press<\/a><\/p>\n<p>                        , Murray has dealt with hip pain for a number of years, having surgery in January 2018 in hopes of solving the problem.
