Dylan Edwards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Probably the best of a bad Blues lot, running for a mammoth 272 metres and setting up a try.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Brian To&#x27;o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Emulated Edwards in run metres and scored a determined try &#8211; one of the few Blues to play anywhere near his best.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Latrell Mitchell<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tried hard with his running game, clocking up nearly 200 metres, but couldn&#x27;t come up with any major plays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Zac Lomax<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A mixed bag &#8211; a bad miss that allowed Queensland&#x27;s first try, some good runs and two from two with his much criticised goalkicking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Jarome Luai<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tried to spark a lethargic Blues team but only succeeded at the death to create a late try for To&#x27;o.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Nathan Cleary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Came up with possibly his worst Origin game, failing to trouble the Maroons defence at all. Reece Robson<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Busy in defence but doesn&#x27;t offer enough in attack. The Blues need to find a foil for Harry Grant next year or they will go down again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Payne Haas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ran for 115 metres but looked like his back injury was holding him back from his dynamic best.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>11. Liam Martin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Strangely quiet in attack with just five runs for 55 metres &#8211; well down on his best.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>12. Angus Crichton<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the busier Blues forwards in attack but came up with a game high six missed tackles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>13. Spencer Leniu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brought some aggression from the bench and was one of the few Blues forwards to stand up to the Maroons onslaught.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>16. Hudson Young<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tried hard in his 28 minutes of game time but it was too little, too late for the Blues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>17. Stefano Utoikamanu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Five runs for 50 metres, none of which hurt the Maroons. Another bloke who should never have been there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>QUEENSLAND MAROONS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three Origins, three different positions &#8211; and starred in every one. Superb at the back in all aspects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 8.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Xavier Coates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Got one chance with the ball and nailed it &#8211; and safe under the high ball in defence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6375442594112\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/pickerimage-11.jpg\" alt=\"Coates gives Maroons early edge\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cmcvtnaq3000e0hqnjfhxec7t\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Robert Toia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Won his battle with Latrell and after his first series, looks set to be a 10-year Origin player.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Gehamat Shibasaki<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No nerves at all from debutant who handled Stephen Crichton with ease, coming up with a try assist and some good bursts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Valentine Holmes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ran the ball back strongly for over 120 metres &#8211; got few chances in attack in decent field position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Cameron Munster<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the worst week of his life, the Maroons skipper had a quiet game but led the team well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6375443378112\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/pickerimage-12.jpg\" alt=\"Munster sums up tough week in victory speech\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cmcvxekf5000f0glewyiwj21k\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Tom Dearden<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sensational performance from the man who is now the King of Queensland &#8211; two tries and some wonderful last-ditch defence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Josh Papali&#x27;i<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Did the job Billy Slater brought him in for, calming the young Maroons forwards and leading the way in the early stages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-video-id=\"6375443155112\" src=\"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/pickerimage-13.jpg\" alt=\"Latrell picks Papa in heated moment\" data-vms-id=\"ref:cmcvvyqtu000c0hn6xjcr0qhf\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Harry Grant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Way too smart for the Blues attack from dummy-half, scoring a try and getting his team on the front foot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Tino Fa&#x27;asuamaleaui<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The best prop on the field, running for over 100 metres and rattling the cages of the Blues&#x27; big men.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>11. Reuben Cotter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Never stopped in attack or defence in a fine 80 minute effort. Trent Loiero<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Produced the same form he shows week in, week out for the Storm to justify his selection for his maiden series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>14. Kurt Mann<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Never got into the game with just four runs for 48 metres but still made a contribution over the series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>15. Lindsay Collins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Strong and tough when he got his chance in the middle, ensuring the Maroons maintained their advantage up front.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>16. Patrick Carrigan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The best of the bench players, running for nearly 150 metres in just 35 minutes of game time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>17.
