Phil Gould<\/a> has smashed the "ridiculous" NRL scheduling as the Panthers<\/a>\ufeff look set to be without a host of key stars for their round 16 clash against the Warriors.<\/p>\n

"Well the Origin players won't be playing because they can't," he said.<\/p>\n

"I don't think it's fair that we can't play … we should be able to make that decision.<\/p>\n

"Through flights, we just can't get them there."<\/p>\n

"Someone at the NRL probably said 'oh it doesn't matter, they won't play anyway' but in previous years, they were leading the comp. Now they are in a battle for the top-eight and I'm sure they would have loved to have had those Origin players available.<\/p>\n
