Lahore: Former off-spinner Tauseef Ahmed, who suffered a heart attack at a wedding ceremony in Lahore, has been shifted to\u00a0Punjab Institute of Cardiology on the special orders of Prime Minister’s House.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 62-year-old Tauseef traveled to Lahore a few days back from Karachi to attend a wedding ceremony.\u00a0He was rushed\u00a0to a local hospital for treatment, however, now he is in Punjab\u00a0Institute of Cardiology.<\/p>\n

According to Tauseef’s nephew Saifuddin, Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary called and inquired about the former cricketer’s health.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister’s House has assigned Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid to take care of Tauseef Ahmed.<\/p>\n

“Tauseef Ahmed’s health is much better now and he is recovering well. He\u00a0will be given stents in Punjab Cardiology,” Saifuddin said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the cricket fraternity have also prayed for Tauseef’s best possible recovery.<\/span><\/p>\n
