Forgotten Rabbitoh Josh Schuster<\/a> will finally make his South Sydney<\/a> debut in the NSW Cup<\/a> this weekend after overcoming both a calf injury and mental demons.<\/p>\n

And the former Manly utility is primed to take the NRL<\/a> by storm once he regains his confidence and match fitness, according to his manager.<\/p>\n

"Josh is ready to go and when he gets a few games under his belt there will be no stopping him," his agent Mario Tartak told Wide World of Sports.<\/p>\n

"He has trimmed down, lost some weight and is primed to play footy again.<\/p>\n

"It's been a tough time for him since he left Manly, but Souths and Wayne Bennett have been great to him. Wayne has had a real influence on Josh and I think we will all see just how much in coming weeks."<\/p>\n

\"Rabbitohs<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old Schuster has always had the talent but struggled at Manly through a combination of injuries, inconsistent form and mental struggles.<\/p>\n

His last NRL game for the Sea Eagles was way back in August 2023 and the club finally cut ties with him last April.<\/p>\n

Schuster's career was in limbo for some time before Souths decided to give him a chance on a one-year deal.<\/p>\n
