A\ufeffFL<\/a> great James Hird<\/a> has called out Jamarra Ugle-Hagan<\/a> after his "unacceptable" decision to skip a Western Bulldogs<\/a> game.<\/p>\n

The sidelined star wasn't in attendance for his team's narrow loss to Collingwood at the MCG on Friday night, despite being spotted around Melbourne throughout the week.<\/p>\n

Ugle-Hagan was at an NBL finals game on Wednesday, before sitting in the crowd to watch the NRL grand final rematch between the Storm and Panthers on Thursday.<\/p>\n

However, according to Nine's Tom Morris on Footy Furnace<\/em>, the 22-year-old opted not to turn up to watch the Bulldogs play in what was their 100th-anniversary game as a club, instead enjoying a night out at the Brighton Beach Hotel.<\/p>\n

Ugle-Hagan's absence left Hird completely stunned and questioned why the young star wouldn't turn up to support his own teammates.<\/p>\n

"I don't understand," the former Essendon player and coach said.<\/p>\n

"He went to the NBL on Wednesday, NRL on Thursday in Melbourne – but didn't go to the Bulldogs game on Friday? That's very strange.<\/p>\n

"It's unacceptable and I didn't know he did that. You would think the most important thing would be to go and watch your teammates.<\/p>\n

"I can't imagine a player not going to watch his team mates, unless he's ill."<\/p>\n

Ugle-Hagan is yet to play for the Dogs this season and wasn't training with the squad until recently, with major question marks over his future at Whitten Oval.<\/p>\n

Head coach Luke Beveridge<\/a> is due to join Nine's Footy Classified<\/em> this week and Hird thinks it might be time to get some answers about the troubled star.<\/p>\n
