Bulldogs<\/a> coach Cameron Ciraldo has admitted he'll seek clarity after Josh Curran was penalised for an incident "against the true spirit of the game".<\/p>\n

With minutes remaining in the first half against the Eels<\/a>, Blake Wilson hit the ball up with a penalty blown by referee Wyatt Raymond.<\/p>\n

The official addressed \ufeffCurran and said "you called Matt (Doorey) offside and pulled him out, that's against the true spirit of the game" (watch in the video above)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Curran pleaded he didn't touch Doorey.\ufeff<\/p>\n

\ufeffReed Mahoney then asked the referee for clarity before he was given the same explanation.<\/p>\n

"What?," Andrew Johns immediately said on Nine.<\/p>\n

Billy Slater added: "That's the first time I've ever heard that".<\/p>\n

Post-match, Ciraldo \ufeffwas asked if he'd ever seen that sort of penalty given.<\/p>\n

"No, when was the last time it got penalised?," he said.<\/p>\n

"I didn't know what it was for. I'll have to get some clarity on that.<\/p>\n

"There were a lot of things that went against us at crucial times. We have to look at that. <\/p>\n

"We need to find ways that we can be better at what we can control – but that was a tricky one."<\/p>\n
