J\ufeffake Paul<\/a> has quickly backtracked after his latest claims about boxing<\/a> icon Mike Tyson<\/a> went viral on social media.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old, who defeated Tyson via unanimous decision last November, appeared on a live stream over the weekend when the topic of psychedelic drugs came up.<\/p>\n

Paul then sent alarm bells through the boxing community with an off-the-cuff remark about the former heavyweight world champion's health. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"Ayahuasca is really good for your brain as well and same with toad," Paul said.<\/p>\n

"Toad cured Tyson's Parkinson's [disease] so that he could come back and fight."<\/p>\n

After the clip started to surface online and lead to concerns, Paul would swiftly rectify the issue, simply saying he "misspoke" about Tyson's condition.<\/p>\n

"Mike Tyson didn't have no Parkinson's," he said via X.<\/p>\n

"WTF. Why the f–k is the internet so stupid for. I misspoke. Meant he used toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do."<\/p>\n

The months that have followed the bout have been filled with controversy, with plenty of the criticism surrounding Tyson's health and ability to compete at 58 years of age.<\/p>\n

However, his camp have vehemently denied the \ufeffsuggestions from Paul.<\/p>\n

"Mike is happy and perfectly healthy," a statement provided to TMZ said.<\/p>\n

"He doesn't have Parkinson's or any other illness."<\/p>\n
