Jarryd Hayne<\/a>'s rugby league comeback has been confirmed after \ufefflast playing for the Eels in 2018.<\/p>\n

Hayne has signed with the Wentworthville Magpies \ufeffin the Ron Massey Cup, with the club posting on Facebook to share the news.<\/p>\n

"The Hayne plane touches down at Wenty," the post read.<\/p>\n

Hayne spent more than a year behind bars after being found guilty of rape, before the convictions were quashed by the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal in June<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The former Eels fullback recently made his long-awaited return to a rugby league field at the Nines Premier League on the Gold Coast in late January<\/a>.<\/p>\n
