T\ufeffhe Canberra Raiders<\/a> want NFL<\/a> GOAT Tom Brady<\/a> to play an iconic role for the club ahead of its clash against the Warriors<\/a> in Las Vegas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 47-year-old is expected to be a guest commentator on Fox One's US coverage of the NRL's second Vegas trip, and the Raiders want him to blow the horn and lead the Viking Clap before kick-off.<\/p>\n

Speaking on SEN, Raiders chief executive Don Furner said it would be "fantastic to get a Tom Brady-like person" to blow the horn, or potentially Rob Gronkowski.<\/p>\n

"There are a couple of lines of communication through the NRL," Furner said.<\/p>\n

"We are in communication with Las Vegas Raiders about two of their players … we would like it to be an American NFL player, that's our aim.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

"We've had a lot of suggestions through as to who that should be, and if we get one of the Raiders players, that would be great. That's what we're trying to do now.<\/p>\n

"Fox One are doing our game and Tom Brady or Gronkowski will be a guest commentator is my understanding. If one of those two are commentators on that day\u2026 it would be great to have one of those two.<\/p>\n

"So, I guess that's the top of the mountain, and then a Raiders player, a Las Vegas Raiders player would be unbelievable too."<\/p>\n

The Raiders are the 'home' team against the Warriors, and will play the second game of the expanded Las Vegas showcase on March 2 (AEDT).<\/p>\n
