Karachi: Highlanders WFC and Diya WFC started their National Women\u2019s Football Championship campaign with huge wins here on Day 2 of the competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Islamabad-based Highlanders WFC scored 16 goals against Abbottabad’s Nawanshehr United Football Academy at the KPT Football Stadium. Nazalia was the highest scorer with six goals, while Asmara Habib netted four.<\/p>\n

At the KMC Stadium, Diya WFC outclassed Mohsen Gilani WFC by 13-0. Zunaira scored five, Marium Zehri, Ameerah and Shumaila scored two goals each while Aliya Jhallka and Kiran Qureshi managed a goal each.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, defending champions Army beat Jafa WFC 3-0 with Swaiba Sarfraz scoring a brace and Pakistan veteran Hajra Khan netting in one goal in the Group \u2018C\u2019 match at the KMC Stadium.<\/p>\n

In the other match of the group at the KPT Stadium, Riaz Kamil FC played a 1-1 draw against FC Karachi. Wania Hasan scored for FC Karachi while Areeba equalized for Riaz Kamil FC.<\/p>\n
