A late surge from France's Celine Boutier was not enough to rattle Australia's Hannah Green as she claimed victory at the BMW Ladies Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Green\ufeff produced a remarkable performance to claim her second victory in South Korea, finishing at 19-under on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Entering the final day of competition with a two-shot advantage, Green was placed under threat by Boutier who nailed five birdies in her final seven holes.<\/p>\n

But a birdie on the 17th hole cemented Green's win as she claimed her third LPGA title of the season.<\/p>\n

The title\ufeff makes Green the first Australian woman since Karrie Webb to win three LPGA tournaments in a year, with world No.1 Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko the only other golfers to also achieve the feat in 2024.<\/p>\n

Korda was not in attendance at the event having withdrawn due to a neck injury. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Green labelled the final hole as "a crazy finish" as Boutier learned of the result.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffMy caddy said to me at the start of the day, 'let's try and get a lead and have a bit of cushion coming in'," she said.<\/p>\n

"I did not do that and made it very interesting. I was very nervous. I was just very happy to see one go in.\ufeff<\/p>\n

\"Hannah<\/p>\n

"It helps that I've been hitting the ball well, and when the putter goes well, it does go well.<\/p>\n

"I still have four or five more tournaments for the rest of the year, so I want to continue to work hard and have myself in these types of positions (more often)."\ufeff<\/p>\n

Thailand's Chanettee Wannasaen finished two shots behind Green to place third, while South Korean duo Hye-Jin Choi and Yu Jin Sung \ufefftied in fourth.<\/p>\n
