Half of the fine was suspended for 12 months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TEAM LISTS: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/nrl\/2021-team-lists-round-1-guide-squads-club-by-club-broncos-go-with-brodie-croft-benji-marshall-earns-spot-at-souths\/0fb8c483-61c7-45f0-9a44-4d6c06665e71\" title=\"Broncos, Rabbitohs make huge R1 calls\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Broncos, Rabbitohs make huge R1 calls<\/strong><\/a><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"56ec4e2f-52fe-4b43-a88d-097a59e8599b\" src=\"https:\/\/prod.static9.net.au\/fs\/56ec4e2f-52fe-4b43-a88d-097a59e8599b\" alt=\"Knights half Phoenix Crossland.\" data-width=\"5472\" data-height=\"3078\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The NRL released a statement detailing the penalty this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;In determining the penalty, the NRL took into account that the player proactively reported the incident, co-operated with the Integrity Unit and written submissions made in response to a breach notice,&quot; the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>Crossland was an outside chance of selection in the Knights&#x27; Round 1 team had he not been suspended, with Tex Hoy moved to fullback to cover for the injured Kalyn Ponga and fellow half Blake Green also sidelined.<\/p>\n<p>Kurt Mann will start at five-eighth against the Bulldogs, while Connor Watson will start the season at lock.
