Hollywood A-lister Keanu Reeves made his professional motorsports<\/a> debut at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday morning (AEDT).<\/p>\n

And the Matrix star went for a wild spin on his way to a 25th-place finish.<\/p>\n

Competing in the Toyota GR North America Cup series, \ufeffReeves qualified 31st of 35 cars, and briefly ran as high as 21st.<\/p>\n

He successfully dodged a lap one pileup, but spun on his own later in the race. The category is competing as a support category for the eight-hour IMSA sportscar race.<\/p>\n

The race took place on the road course layout of the \ufefffamed host of the Indy 500.<\/p>\n

The 60-year-old is no stranger to motorsport – he often competed in a celebrity race held in support of the Long Beach Grand Prix\ufeff IndyCar race, and won the event in 2009.<\/p>\n

Reeves is driving the No.92 BRZRKR car, which is promoting his graphic novel "The Book of Elsewhere." He is teammates with Cody Jones from "Dude Perfect."<\/p>\n

He is scheduled to attend a 30th anniversary screening of "Speed" on Tuesday in Los Angeles alongside his co-star Sandra Bullock.<\/p>\n

The category's second race is on Monday morning (AEDT).\ufeff<\/p>\n
