B\ufeffrisbane<\/a> has landed a major morale booster ahead of its AFL<\/a> preliminary final showdown with Geelong<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lions skipper Harris Andrews on Thursday announced a four-year contract extension which sees him tied to the Queensland club until the end of 2029.<\/p>\n

His long-term commitment is a big win for the Lions as they look to tackle the Cats at the MCG on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The MCG is the scene of heartbreak for the club, after letting last year's grand final slip when blowing a late lead against Collingwood.<\/p>\n

Andrews, the inspirational two-time All Australian key defender, will have a major role to play on Saturday in an effort to get his side to another premiership decider.<\/p>\n
