\ufeffReagan Campbell-Gillard has been granted a release from the final year of his contract with the Parramatta Eels.<\/p>\n

After weeks of speculation regarding his future, the club confirmed on Tuesday morning that the prop will pursue opportunities with a rival club. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"I'm so thankful for the opportunity to come to a great club which helped me get my football back on track," said Campbell-Gillard.<\/p>\n

"I've really enjoyed my time at Parramatta, I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had and for the lifelong friendships I've made.<\/p>\n

"I also want to thank the passionate Eels fanbase, it's been a pleasure playing in front of them and I've appreciated all their support over the years."<\/p>\n

Parramatta general manager Mark O'Neil wished the best for the former NSW representative.<\/p>\n

"While these decisions are never easy, we also wanted to ensure that Reagan had the opportunity to secure his future beyond the 2025 season," he said.<\/p>\n

"We thank Reagan for his dedicated service to the Eels and wish him, his partner Alira and their young family all the very best for the future."<\/p>\n

Campbell-Gillard made his debut for the Eels in 2020.<\/p>\n

No other club has claimed his signature as of yet, however, Campbell-Gillard has been heavily linked with several clubs including the Broncos, Dolphins and Bulldogs.<\/p>\n

He was heavily linked with a move to the Dragons in 2025 but the club has since confirmed that he will not be signing with them.<\/p>\n

Campbell-Gillard's management has informed clubs that the 31-year-old is searching for a three-year deal, which The Sydney Morning Herald reports puts the Cowboys out of the race as they were only willing to offer a two year deal.<\/p>\n

The Broncos came into the equation late but now look a favourite to sign Campbell-Gillard to partner Payne Haas in the front row. Brisbane has also been linked to Storm premiership winner Christian Welch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
