Karachi:\u00a0Dawid Malan has achieved the highest-ever rating points for batsmen in the ICC Men\u2019s T20I Player Rankings after a brilliant run saw him top the series aggregate with 173 runs and help England sweep South Africa 3-0.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The left-hander\u00a0has reached 915 points, the first to cross the 900-point mark after Australian Aaron Finch\u2019s 900-point achievement in July 2018.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old now\u00a0enjoys a 44-point lead over Pakistan\u2019s Babar Azam (871), whom he overtook to become number one in September this year.<\/p>\n

Malan played two back to back match-winning knocks. Last night, he smacked 47-ball 99* that helped England go past Australia to take top spot in\u00a0ICC Men\u2019s T20I Team Rankings.<\/p>\n

England and Australia are now level\u00a0at 275 points but England are ahead on decimal points.\u00a0South Africa and New Zealand retain their fifth and sixth positions while the West Indies have slipped behind Afghanistan to 10th place after losing 2-0 to New Zealand.<\/p>\n

South Africa\u2019s Rassie van der Dussen has reached a career-best fifth position from 22nd. He scored 136 runs against England in the three-match series.<\/p>\n
