The decision was heard and upheld by the English\u00a0adjudicator of CAS.<\/p>\n<p>Note,\u00a0CAS\u00a0had accepted Pakistan Cricket Board&#8217;s (PCB) request\u00a0to conduct the hearing of Umar Akmal\u2019s case virtually.<\/p>\n<p>PCB filed an appeal against the reduction in Akmal\u2019s ban whereas Akmal appealed for further reduction in his suspension.<\/p>\n<p>Remember,\u00a0ex-Supreme Court judge Mr. Justice (retd) Faqir Muhammad Khokhar, in his capacity as an independent adjudicator had reduced Akmal\u2019s ban to 1.5 years from 3 years.
