Less than a couple of months ago, Braydon Trindall<\/a>'s career appeared like a train wreck after he faced court for driving under the influence of alcohol, and with an illicit substance also in his system.<\/p>\n

But now, with that incident behind him and star playmaker Nicho Hynes<\/a> facing a long rehab for a serious ankle injury, Trindall is the man leading the Sharks<\/a>' top four charge.<\/p>\n

And the classy playmaker, who has been in sparkling form, has the full confidence of his teammates as the Sharks chase a second premiership title.<\/p>\n

"Braydon has really stepped up and taken a leadership role and he's been great for us," back-rower Briton Nikora told Wide World of Sports.<\/p>\n

"I think a lot of people thought we would struggle without Nicho given the role he plays but Braydon has come of age.<\/p>\n

"He's been good for my game and I know a lot of the other boys feel the same."<\/p>\n

The Sharks had the bye last weekend but face a massive challenge against the Cowboys up north on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n
