Five-star offensive lineman Michael Carroll, an Alabama commit, announced on Wednesday that he is set to transfer to IMG Academy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Carroll, who had played for Central Bucks East (Doylestown, Pennsylvania), is the No. 12 recruit in the nation according to On3<\/a>. In the On3 Industry Rankings, he is the top-ranked interior offensive lineman in the nation and the second-best recruit in Pennsylvania in the class of 2025.<\/p>\n

Carroll committed to Alabama in June over offers from Baylor, Georgia<\/a>, Georgia Tech, Michigan<\/a>, Penn State<\/a>, South Carolina and Tennessee<\/a> among others.<\/p>\n

IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida) finished 10-0 last season. They were the fifth-best team in the nation in the final USA TODAY High School Sports Super 25<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The highly-rated recruit will have someone very familiar with him on the IMG Academy roster, his brother.<\/p>\n

Liam Carroll, the younger brother of Michael Carroll, also announced on Thursday<\/a> his transfer to IMG.<\/p>\n

A 6-foot-2 athlete in the class of 2027<\/a>, Liam Carroll already holds an offer from Penn State.<\/p>\n
