It's understood the 31-year-old's camp last month wrote to both V'Landys and NRL CEO Andrew Abdo, requesting a meeting<\/a> to discuss the criteria that would allow the former Storm and Broncos winger to make a return to the game.<\/p>\n Asked today whether the game would give Folau a chance, V'landys said the Commission wouldn't hold back but revealed the NRL is yet to receive any formal approach from a club.<\/p>\n "I don't know if we can say for sure he will be registered because no NRL club has submitted an application for him to be considered," V'landys told The Courier Mail.<\/p>\n "If someone wants to sign Israel Folau, the Commission will consider their application.<\/p>\n "At the moment, it's hypothetical until (an NRL club) comes forward.<\/p>\n "Israel Folau will be given every opportunity like any other person.
