A\ufeffustralian boxing<\/a> star Skye Nicolson<\/a> has remained undefeated, producing a dominant performance to retain her WBC featherweight title in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old has cemented herself as one of the the sport's rising stars in recent years, making a successful transition from the amateurs to the pros.<\/p>\n

Nicolson was a hot favourite against Dyana Vargas in the bout \ufeffon Sunday (AEST), with all three judges scoring the fight 100-90 in favour of the Queensland product.<\/p>\n

Nicolson's professional record has now improved to 11-0 and her win over Vargas was the first successful title defence since she won the vacant strap in April.<\/p>\n
