Brisbane<\/a> coach Kevin Walters<\/a> did not mince his words following the Broncos' devastating 30-26 defeat to the Dragons<\/a> on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The Red V<\/a> survived a late scare from the resurgent Broncos outfit to silence Suncorp Stadium as the home side slumped to their sixth-straight defeat this season.<\/p>\n

After making his way down to the sheds, Walters unleashed on his team before entering his post-match press conference \u2014 cameras catching the star coach storm out of the changing rooms.<\/p>\n

Speaking post-match, Broncos hooker and Walters' son, Billy Walters, revealed he was nervous to enter the change rooms as he feared the rare spray the team may be subjected to.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"[Walters] is a pretty emotional guy. He doesn't like to talk too much after the game, but after six losses we deserve a bit of a spray," Billy told Fox League.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"It's a pretty tough pill to swallow … but they were too good for us in the end."<\/p>\n

True to type, a fiery Walters did not hold back as he fronted the media, stating he was "disappointed" with the ongoing efforts of his team.<\/p>\n

"We just can't keep doing that," he said.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"A lot of errors \u2014 we paid the price again tonight. One thing happened and then it would trigger another point.<\/p>\n

When asked why the Broncos' recent performances were seemingly similar to that of a broken record, Walters replied: "It's just not changing is it?".<\/p>\n

\"Kevin<\/p>\n

"The thing that annoys me \ufeffis that I don't bother with St George, I just bother about us. I just know that we are a better team than what we are [delivering]," Walters interjected as a reporter continued his question.<\/p>\n

"I don't feel sorry, I'm just disappointed that that's what we throw up.<\/p>\n

"I'm disappointed in myself as a coach that that's what is being presented consistently. That's not good enough and that rests on me.<\/p>\n

"We had a lot of good players out there tonight, but there were just some individual errors that really hurt us. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"We scored 26 points in the end and that's enough to win a game. Our defence disappointed us again."<\/p>\n

With \ufeffsix Broncos named in Billy Slater's Queensland team for Origin III, Walters confirmed that despite calls to make changes to his lineup, his representative stars may not return for next week's clash against Newcastle.<\/p>\n

"We don't have anyone to change. I'm just worried about next week," he said.<\/p>\n

"The boys have to get through an Origin so we will see how we go. There is no one coming back next week that wasn't here this week."<\/p>\n

Despite Brisbane's horror run and gruelling finish on Saturday night, Walters remained confident his side has what it takes to produce a compelling finals charge.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"Things have got to change though for that to happen," he said.<\/p>\n

"We can't keep doing what we are doing because [then] we are no chance of it happening.<\/p>\n
