Let him beat Justis Huni or someone like that," Mundine told Wide World of Sports.<\/p>\n "We need to put things in perspective. But he looks hungry, he's strong and has power behind him but there's levels to this, and he won't know who he is as a boxer until he goes into deep water.<\/p>\n "He definitely has power there's no doubting that but people are hyping him up talking about being champion, I mean come on. I need to see more of him against better calibre fighters.<\/p>\n "\ufeffHe's stepping into his punches too much and losing balance – he has a lot to learn. He's still green.<\/p>\n "But I see the hunger in him and the will. But when he fights someone that can fight and that punches back, then we'll find out."<\/p>\n During the official press conference on fight week, Scott said Paul Gallen "wrote the book" when it comes to crossover boxing success and "made a motza from the sport".<\/p>\n "I'm speaking the truth and trying to entertain because that's what this sport is, it's all about putting bums on seats \u2013 entertaining," he said.<\/p>\n Nobody can doubt Gallen's success in the ring after hanging up the boots, fighting for the Australian heavyweight championship in 2021, and making millions doing it.<\/p>\n Yet, there's a strong case that Mundine masterminded the blueprint\ufeff on crossing over from NRL to boxing, amassing a reported $30 million in the process\ufeff.<\/p>\n The former Dragons five-eighth said he understands what's involved in the promotion of fighters, but Scott "ain't the next cash cow."<\/p>\n "I understand what they're doin'. It's all about making that money for them and they need another cash cow.<\/p>\n "But Curtis ain't the cash cow. He was a decent football player, but not a great one.<\/p>\n "He looks like he's got a bit of talent in boxing but he's beaten nobody bro. He's beaten football players.<\/p>\n "I was fighting dudes who were world rated in my third or fourth fight. I wish him the best but ain't no one going to replicate what 'The Man' did, you know?<\/p>\n "There is no one better than me as a crossover athlete. I'm the best cross-over athlete in the world, in the history of sport.<\/p>\n "Especially going from rugby league to boxing. No Paul Gallen, nobody. He had a bit of a crack but brother, I'm No.1 and there's daylight second. Nobody comes close.<\/p>\n "Nobody has done what I've done. I've got the runs on the board. Technically I'm a four-time champion and I was a part-time boxer. I was the best rugby league player in the world when I left."<\/p>\n In the aftermath of Scott's win, naturally the former Storm and Raiders centre – who had his registration revoked by the NRL due to domestic violence convictions last year<\/a> – said Sonny Bill Williams is the logical next step for him.\ufeff<\/p>\n Williams was stopped in his last outing against UFC legend Mark Hunt, which was the first loss of his career.<\/p>\n There were reports he was in discussions with Lucas Browne to return to the ring later this year, but Brown retired after being knocked out by Hemi Ahio.<\/p>\n Mundine said he's unsure about Williams' ambitions in the ring. Although, he was sure about one thing – if the two do meet in the ring, Williams would be victorious.<\/p>\n "\ufeffI'm not sure about SB but definitely SB will cause him problems. SB has the experience. Fundamentally he's pretty sound," Mundine said.<\/p>\n "SB has about 10-12 fights and is not a seasoned vet but he should beat Scott.<\/p>\n "No one can answer (whether he wants to fight) other than SB.
