AFL<\/a> great Barry Hall's night came to a crashing end, after he was knocked out in the first round of his battle with NRL bad boy Curtis Scott.<\/p>\n

Scott came in with an aggressive tone and refused to back down, firing off several shots early.<\/p>\n

Those hits dazed Hall, who took an early fall\ufeff and from there, looked a broken man.<\/p>\n

Moments later, Scott went in for the kill and ended Hall's night then and there, in just under three minutes.<\/p>\n

Despite not giving in, it was done from there, with Hall's corner eventually throwing in the towel, handing Scott the win.<\/p>\n

The win, which take's Scott's record in the ring to 3-0, gave the 26-year-old a new level of confidence post fight.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I'll fight anyone," Scott said.<\/p>\n

Now, he's named his next target, which will be sure to draw attention of an even bigger crowd.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"Sonny Bill makes sense," he added.<\/p>\n

It didn't look good from the get go, according to boxing great Barry Michael.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"The minute he got hit he just fell apart," Michael said.<\/p>\n

"He wasn't right … he had no legs at all."<\/p>\n

But this win wasn't anything to do with luck, with Australia UFC great Alexander Volkanovski declaring Scott had done some serious homework on Hall.<\/p>\n

In particular, Scott knew exactly where to get Hall where it hurt, copying from Sonny Bill Williams actions that recently overcame Hall.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"I swear to God it was the exact first shot that Sonny Bill Williams threw," Volkanovski said.<\/p>\n

Speaking in the dressing room after the fight, Scott said he was nervous ahead of the bout.<\/p>\n

"I watched Barry's fight against Gal today and I'm not going to lie, I was shitting myself," he said<\/p>\n

"And that's what I was pumping up for, that's what I was expecting.<\/p>\n

"He was probably a little off against Sonny and I thought that would be a massive motivator to get a win over me.<\/p>\n

"There was also the big size difference too.<\/p>\n

So he had me bluffed to be honest.<\/p>\n
