A\ufeffFL<\/a> legend Barry Hall has taken a major swipe at Curtis Scott<\/a>, accusing him of "bluffing" in their final press conference before Wednesday night's boxing bout.<\/p>\n

After months of trash talk, Hall will finally square off against the exiled NRL<\/a> star in a heavyweight clash on the No Limit pay-per-view card in Wollongong.<\/p>\n

Scott was somewhat reserved to begin with during Monday's media event despite previously talking a big game about his plans to knock out his rival, but Hall lit the fuse and claimed the former Melbourne Storm centre was "full of shit".<\/p>\n

"He's not well liked," Hall said.<\/p>\n

"I think at the end of the day, a lot of fighters have got to bluff themselves into stuff sometimes. I think the trash talk that's come out was ridiculous … but if that's what he's got to do to get himself in fight mode, that's great.<\/p>\n

"He was just full of shit, to be honest. I wasn't rattled, it was just a different energy.<\/p>\n

"It's fight week now so I'm fine with that energy. That's what we're here to do. It's not a tickling contest, we're here to hurt each other."<\/p>\n

Plenty of the build-up has centred around Hall's previous fight with Paul Gallen in 2019<\/a>, which ended in a draw as a rare blemish on the Sharks legend's boxing record.<\/p>\n

Scott had used Gallen's name numerous times during the weeks leading up to the fight \ufeffand Hall believes that comes down to the fact people aren't interested in him.<\/p>\n

"I've had to get a lot of physio on my back because I've carried this fight's promotion a lot," Hall said.<\/p>\n

"He should maybe give a clip of his fight purse to Paul Gallen, because no one really wants to talk about Curtis Scott."<\/p>\n

Scott \ufeffrefused to bite back at the Sydney Swans great and turned the attention back towards what is set to transpire inside the ring.<\/p>\n

"That's fine," he said.<\/p>\n

"He's going to know who I am on Wednesday night. He might not know who I am because he's going to be knocked the f— out."<\/p>\n

The event will be headlined by Sam Goodman<\/a> \ufefftaking on Chainoi Worawut in a super-bantamweight world title eliminator, while Liam Wilson squares off against Youssef Dib.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
