It was a big Saturday for the Florida Gators<\/a>, who landed a commitment from Tae’Shaun Gelsey.<\/p>\n

A class of 2025 recruit from Riverside (Jacksonville, Florida), Gelsey picked Florida over a final six that also included Auburn<\/a>, UCF, Kentucky<\/a>, Tulane and Wake Forest. Gelsey posted his top six<\/a> on June 3.<\/p>\n

A dual-sport athlete who also plays basketball<\/a>, Gelsey is a match-up nightmare at the high school level. At 6-foot-10 and 210 pounds, Gelsey has a good catch radius and moves very well down the field.<\/p>\n

Rivals ranks him<\/a> as the No. 59 player in Florida and the No. 22 tight end prospect.<\/p>\n

He took an official visit to Florida in the last week of May before taking a trip to Auburn. Last weekend, he was at Tulane.<\/p>\n

Gelsey is the eighth commit for Florida in the 2025 class. Nationally, the class is ranked No. 65 by 247Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n
