Faizon Brandon is set to commit, this following several unofficial visits this month. A cutdown of his list, with an August commitment in mind, has now accelerated Brandon’s recruitment.<\/p>\n
A five-star quarterback in the class of 2026, Brandon is down to a final four of Alabama<\/a>, LSU<\/a>, North Carolina State and Tennessee<\/a>. According to 247Sports<\/a>, Brandon is the top-ranked recruit in his class.<\/p>\n He is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound quarterback prospect from Grimsley (Greensboro, North Carolina).\u00a0 Last year<\/a>, he was 191-for-277 for 3,026 passing yards. He had 36 passing touchdowns and four interceptions.<\/p>\n Brandon told On3 that he made his Thursday cut down because these four schools were engaged with him the most.<\/p>\n \u201cThey have shown me that they can develop quarterbacks and that has been a thing that has caught my eye about all four of these schools,” Brandon told Chad Simmons of On3<\/a>.<\/p>\n “All the quarterbacks they\u2019ve sent to the league are impressive. That\u2019s definitely something I\u2019m looking for in a school and these schools have that.\u201d<\/p>\n This past weekend, the North Carolina quarterback took an unofficial visit to Alabama.<\/p>\n He has been offered by programs such as Duke, Florida State<\/a>, Georgia<\/a>, Miami, Ohio State<\/a> and South Carolina among others.<\/p>\n In addition to playing quarterback, Brandon also plays as a forward for Grimsley’s varsity basketball team.<\/p>\n
