F\ufefformer England<\/a> captain Michael Vaughan<\/a> has launched a stinging attack at T20 World Cup<\/a> organisers, claiming "the whole event is geared towards India".<\/p>\n

Vaughan took to X, \ufeffventing frustration at scheduling and ground allocation issues as England prepares to face India for a spot in the World Cup final.<\/p>\n

The winner of that match will play South Africa after they demolished Afghanistan in the semi final<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Afghanistan's \ufeffpreparation was less than ideal, having played Bangladesh in St Vincent two days before.<\/p>\n

They then travelled to Trinidad but experienced a four-hour flight delay with captain Rashid Khan admitting players hadn't slept well.<\/p>\n

\ufeffIn comparison, South Africa had an extra day of preparation after playing West Indies on June 24.<\/p>\n

"No time to practice or get accustom to a new venue … utter lack of respect to players I am afraid," Vaughan tweeted.<\/p>\n

Vaughan then protested the match should have been held \ufeffon the same day India and England are playing.<\/p>\n

"Surely this semi should have been the Guyana one … but because the whole event is geared towards India it's so unfair on others," he posted. \ufeff<\/p>\n

England and India will go head to head at Providence, Guyana, with the latter's last match at Gros Islet, Saint Lucia, on June 25 against Australia.<\/p>\n

England's previous match was against the USA on June 24 at Bridgetown in Barbados.<\/p>\n

\ufeffThe semi final is under threat, though, with heavy rain forecast at Guyana.<\/p>\n
