Despite basking in the glory of a massive win over the Raiders, Tigers<\/a> coach Benji Marshall<\/a> and captain Apisai Koroisau were left stumped by one question after their victory.<\/p>\n

The Tigers' 48-24 victory<\/a> makes it two in a row for the side after previously losing nine straight.<\/p>\n

Leading 18-2 at half-time, league icon Phil Gould noted on Nine's coverage in the second half they could've been up by 50 such was the momentum they had. However, a bombed try to Jahream Bula and some penalties meant the side weren't able to fully capitalise.<\/p>\n

Post-game Koroisau was asked about the side's composure in this game compared to others and whether that would've have previously thrown the side (watch in the video above<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

As Koroisau \ufefftook time to consider his response, Marshall noted it was a "good question" before his captain replied.<\/p>\n

\ufeff"I couldn't tell you, that's a good question. Honestly, it's just one of those things, things kept happening for us today," he said.<\/p>\n

"I think as well, we took advantage of those things, we didn't put our heads down or anything we just kept working, stuck to the game plan and things came off."<\/p>\n

The Tigers victory showcased the number of talented youngsters in the side with Lachlan Galvin scoring twice and Luke Laulilii\ufeff going over on debut.<\/p>\n

Asked whether it shows how far the club can go with its young brigade, Marshall quipped back that it depends on the narrative created in the media.<\/p>\n

"I don't know, it depends what you write," he said.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffCouple of weeks ago we were going backwards.<\/p>\n

"You don't throw kids in there if you don't think they're ready. I think we've debuted 10 people this year, that's pretty big in itself but Luke showed signs in the start of pre season, he was ready he just wasn't 18 yet.<\/p>\n

"He turned 18 last Thursday and it was tempting to play him last week.<\/p>\n

"I only told him this morning because Stainesy (Charlie Staines) was sick, that he was playing and I thought he had a great game for a kid who only found out this morning.<\/p>\n

"We saw that all pre season from him \ufeffbut that's what kids bring, they bring energy and they bring confidence.<\/p>\n

"We are going places in the future but we still want to win now, I think that's what gets confused. Just because we've had those nine losses in a row, we still want to win now and we still can win now, we've just got to keep backing it up."<\/p>\n

Along with the club's younger players shining, Adam Doueihi was electric in his return from injury, scoring the final try.<\/p>\n

Marshall revealed it was a "last minute" call to put him in the centres. \ufeff<\/p>\n

"It wasn't planned, I'll be honest I only told do he was playing yesterday," he said.<\/p>\n

"I was going to play him in Cup and then Justin Olam pulled out, it was a last minute decision and he did that (roamed around the field) on his own. I can't take any credit for the way he played that was all him."<\/p>\n

\"Doueihi<\/p>\n

The coach added there was a hint of doubt about bringing \ufeffDoueihi back.<\/p>\n

"Yeah there was, just about if we're doing the right thing by him," he admitted.<\/p>\n

"\ufeffI even double checked with him last night to make sure and he's been extremely confident, he's been harrassing me for three weeks, honestly.<\/p>\n
