In his first match since the fallout of his release request<\/a> from the Tigers<\/a>, Lachlan Galvin has shown why he's the future of the club.<\/p>\n

Galvin – who has since committed to the club<\/a> – \ufeffscored two tries for the Tigers as they smashed Canberra<\/a> 48-24.<\/p>\n

"Tigers fans, this young man, he might be the one," league Immortal Andrew Johns said on Nine's coverage after his second try.<\/p>\n

Galvin was the first to score for the Tigers after Brent Naden picked off an intercept and put his side in attacking territory.<\/p>\n

The joint venture then led 12-0 after 10 minutes with debutant Luke Laulilii going over.<\/p>\n

"Ricky Stuart will be praying at half time it's only 12-0," Phil Gould said on Nine's coverage before Tigers forward Sione Fainu went over for the third.<\/p>\n

A Raiders penalty goal right on half time got them on the board as the home side led 18-2.<\/p>\n

\ufeffStraight after the break, Galvin had his second, finishing off a line break from Adam Doueihi in his return from injury.<\/p>\n

Jahream Bula's try moments later made it 30-2 before the Raiders finally got their first try with Danny Levi scooting over. \ufeff<\/p>\n

The dominance of the Tigers continued though with Stefano Utoikamanu and Api Koroisau scoring.<\/p>\n

Koroisau's four-pointer \ufeffcame after a deft grubber from Galvin with Gould praising the youngster's composure while lamenting the Raiders' performance.<\/p>\n

"If this was a boxing bout they'd stop the fight, they'd \ufeffcall it off," he said.<\/p>\n

"Raiders are out on their feet and the Tigers are just doing whatever they like.<\/p>\n

"Just watch the composure here, this kid is 18 remember, Lachie Galvin … that is such composure from a young man, it's incredible."<\/p>\n

Canberra then began a fightback after Tigers forward Alex Seyfarth was sin binned in the 62nd minute for a professional foul. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Nick Cotric and Kaeo Weekes scored immediately after while Ethan Strange also grabbed a four-pointer while the Tigers were a man down.<\/p>\n
