Port Adelaide<\/a> fans have been caught booing coach Ken Hinkley when he appeared on the big screen during their 79-point loss to Brisbane<\/a> at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\ufeffHinkley was also booed when he briefly appeared on the ground as he walked through to the changerooms.<\/p>\n

The Power now sit with an 8-6 record, with their loss to the Lions their third on the trot.<\/p>\n

Hinkley responded to the cold treatment from his fans.\ufeff<\/p>\n

"It's not fun, it's not what I enjoy, it's just the reality of my job," Hinkley said post-match.<\/p>\n

\"Port<\/p>\n

The coach \ufeffbrushed off concerns from club members, who haven't seen their club win a premiership since 2004.<\/p>\n

"If you can't cope with it, you probably shouldn't be in my job," he said.<\/p>\n

"I can cope with it, I don't enjoy it, it's not my favourite time.<\/p>\n

"It's just part of what goes with this job, it's always been the same."<\/p>\n

"The disappointment comes out in many different ways, but no one's more disappointed than us inside the football club \u2013 no one."<\/p>\n

Hinkley confirmed he isn't fazed by the \ufeffsour reaction, already looking ahead to next week's clash against St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.<\/p>\n

"I get the reaction \u2026 I've been around a long time," he said.<\/p>\n

"I'm going to turn up to work and work really hard with all of my staff and players to make sure that we can turn this around really quickly.<\/p>\n

\"Lachie<\/p>\n

"Where we are right now, we've got an opportunity to go back to work straight away and change some of the narrative that we've earnt."<\/p>\n

Meantime, the Lions' win\ufeff skyrockets them into the top eight, jumping up to a 7-6-1 record.<\/p>\n

Their dismal 0-3 start to the \ufeffseason seems a distant memory now, with wins from four of their last five outings.<\/p>\n
